Carote Silicone Kitchen Utensils

Recently I replaced my kitchen cooking utensils with Carote’s set. Took a while for me to use them though since I was too lazy to cook for quite some time after I received them. Not to mention the roach situation from when my next-door neighbor left their lease and thus let loose all the roaches inside to find food but that’s for another time and post.

Anyways, I’ve been cooking for the past week to try and further reduce my carb consumption so I can finally express my thoughts with regards to it.

  1. They’re really food safe silicone.
    – Previously, I had a silicone utensil that sort-of melted when exposed to high temperature bacon grease. This one didn’t melt. No marks at all.
  2. They’re perfect to cook with other Carote pans.
    – When I’m frying things, I use either of the 2 frying spatulas included in the set and their edges line-up quite nicely with the curvature of my Carote pans. Very useful when trying to put things sticking to the sides of the pan back onto the heated surface while cooking.
  3. Wooden handle weighs perfectly. Not too heavy while not too light as well.
  4. Easy to clean.
    – So far, nothing seems to stick onto the silicone. As such, there’s no need for heavy scrubbing of the utensils in order to remove stuck grime.

So far, those are my thoughts on them. If you want to order such or see what I have as a reference, click here.
