I just fired off another submission to the Linux kernel at the time of this post. Hopefully it’ll get through. I’m not very hopeful though since the device I sent a patch for is not very popular, maybe due to it being an under-powered system, in the first place.

The patch I posted is a panel orientation quirk. Same with the first patch I submitted and got accepted a few years ago. This time, it’s for the Chuwi Hi10x system. It’s a pretty tough all-metal laptop that’s, IMO, good for educational purposes. Has a Gemini Lake N4120 CPU which is why it’s quite under-powered, especially in this day and age. Why do you ask did I get interested in this all-of-a-sudden? Well, I thought it might be useful to give to one of my nieces for their school work! And to avoid having it being used for games, I decided to put Linux on it!

Anyways, just submitted it and it might take a few weeks if ever it gets merged.
